La Gomera is one of the smallest and most reserved islands in the Canaries, located in the Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of Africa. The island is characterised by rugged mountains and beautiful scenery, making it a popular destination for walkers and nature lovers. With a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate and warm, mild weather all year round, La Gomera is great for sun seekers too.

What's The Weather Like In La Gomera In March

Temperature

As spring begins to stretch its legs in the northern hemisphere during March, La Gomera begins to see slight shifts in its temperature and weather. Although February was already pleasant, March is warmer, with an average daily temperature of 19°C. Meanwhile, the anticipated low and high temperatures also swell to 15°C and 22°C respectively.  This means the island never feels too cold or too hot, making March a fantastic time to visit La Gomera.

Sea Temperature

While temperatures increase, the Atlantic Ocean remains around the same a brisk 20°C. This should still be warm enough for most people to be comfortable swimming though.

Sunshine Hours

Perhaps best of all, the average amount of sunshine that La Gomera receives grows in March. The island is warmed with a generous ten hours of sun each and every day and there's a 51% chance of a sunny day.

Rain

Rainfall also continues to improve into March, seeing less wet weather than the winter season. Visitors to La Gomera in March can expect around 140mm of rain throughout the month, which is generally spread over 16 wet days.
