There are still plenty of festivals and events to enjoy and with fewer crowds it is easier to get a hotel room as well as reservations at the most popular restaurants.

With temperatures beginning to take a little bit of dip on land, the same is not true for sea temperatures during this month. In fact, this month and February tie for the warmest sea surface temperatures of the year. On average, water temperatures are 18°C (64°F). This is still cool enough for a wetsuit, but warm enough to spend some time enjoying the waves.

The average daily temperature for this time of year is 19°C (66°F). These numbers represent a dip from the previous month and you will need to bring a jacket and light sweater with you when visiting the area. The average high temperature will still climb to 24°C (75°F), but overnight lows will fall to a cool 14°C (57°F). Temperatures in this region during this time of the year can be cooler than in more northern cities.

Rain chances remain steady from the previous two months with an average of 44mm of precipitation expected. This rain will fall over the period of 8 days out of the month. Additionally, the amount of sunshine per day is getting less and less thanks to the change in seasons. During this time of the year, the area will only get 8 hours of sunshine per day. This is down from 11 hours just two months previously.
