Benidorm, Spain, really begins to warm up in June, when the average temperature is around 23°C, created by highs of up to 26°C during the hottest part of the day, cooling down to lows of 16°C after sunset. The Corpus Christi celebrations are held throughout Benidorm during June, when the resort is full of processions and outdoor festivals. Giant colourful carpets created with sand and petals can also be seen in many of the town’s plazas. The Bonfires of St John festival is also celebrated in June, when huge statues made from papier-maché and wood are burned in Old Town, La Cala and the central market area. The evening of the 24th is the most impressive time, when a huge number of the figures are burned followed by street parties which go on until the early hours.

A Segway Tour is a fantastic way to explore the resort without tiring yourself out. Hit the beach
Cala Ti Ximo is one of Benidorm’s most popular unofficial naturist beaches, although being nude isn’t obligatory. This pebble beach is the smallest in the resort and is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing dip or have a go at snorkelling. Because it’s difficult to get to, this bay only offers a handful of facilities, such as sun loungers and shades.
Levante beach is the perfect place for families to spend the day together. Lined by a great selection of cafes, bars, shops and restaurants, this beach offers loads of facilities for you to enjoy, including life guards, sun beds, shades, showers, toilets, children’s play area and water sports.
