Averages for Benidorm in June
While the mountainous areas of Benidorm protect the resort from northern winds and rain in the wintertime, they also trap the southern ocean breezes in the summertime. This means that temperatures in June, July and August are extremely pleasant and perfect for all types of outdoor activity.
Although the temperature is extremely hot on some days due to the Sahara desert air blowing across the Mediterranean Sea, the water can be a welcome relief to those who have spent all day being active or just lying on the beach. The area offers plenty of hiking and biking, as well as water sports such as parasailing and skiing.
The average temperature is 73°F (23°C) during June.
This average is achieved by looking at the low nightly temperatures which are around 61°F (16°C) and the high daytime temperatures which range somewhere within 79°F (26°C).
The average sea temperature is 69.8°F (21°C). This is idyllic for anyone who wants to be in or around the water.
There is an average of 1.46” (37 mm) of precipitation. There is an average of 7 days of precipitation per month.
There is an average of 12 hours of sunlight each day.
With so many things to see and do in Benidorm, Spain, it can be easy to overlook some of the simplest pleasures.
The Mundomar Marine & Exotic Wildlife Park gives people of all ages the chance to watch shows featuring everyone’s favourite sea creatures. There are dolphins and sea lions, just to name a couple of the many species housed in this huge facility. The giant aquarium gives an amazing look at underwater life.
Similarly, the Terra Natura Wildlife Park puts visitors up close and personal with many animals, since there are no perceptible fences or bars separating humans and animals. As an added bonus, the Aqua Natura water park is within the wildlife park and is included in the price of admission.
One of the “Magic” resorts, Magic Cristal Park Hotel is located just a short drive (or walk, if you prefer) from the beach and only five minutes away from the Old Town of Benidorm. The location is a huge selling point, as is its status in the Magic group. Those who have paid full board can opt to hop aboard the shuttle and visit any of the other hotels of the same name. Once there, they are allowed to use all the amenities and even dine in their restaurants. Gold all-inclusive status includes branded drinks as well. This, too, draws guests back to the same accommodations year after year.
As far as the Magic Cristal Park Hotel goes, it is a treat within itself. There are two restaurants on the premises which include plenty of choices and a great salad bar. There are also two bars. The roof is where the real party is, since it houses another bar, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi. The hotel hosts a variety of activities to keep guests entertained, such as magic acts (of course), music, dancing and trivia nights.
