Zanzibar in May provides visitors with just a bit more sunshine per day and a little less rain, as well.
Anytime is a great time to visit Zanzibar but visitors will find that May, which is at the end of what could only be called the rainy season, is particularly nice as the flora of the islands will be in full bloom and the local produce will be available in abundance.

It’s even possible to see and or participate in kite surfing as the winds are generally brisk along the coast of Zanzibar.
