Epiphany (La Fête des Rois) – Citywide 🗓
The Ephiphany is celebrated by Christians and Catholics across the globe on January 6th. The day marks the date of the visit of the Magi to the infant baby Jesus Christ, when three Wise Men arrived in Bethlehem to bear gifts to Jesus. On this day French people celebrate it by eating "galette des rois" (King's cake) and putting up nativity scenes in their homes. The largest and most significant church in Nice is Basilique Notre-Dame. During the Epiphany there will be a number of services held here.
