Malta is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, to the south of Italy, where the two main languages spoken are English and Maltese. Malta has become an increasingly popular holiday resort in recent years, boasting a wide range of attractions and reliably lovely weather and hot dry sunny summers.

Malta boasts a large number of high-quality four and five-star hotels, many of which offer spa facilities, and many of which are situated close to the beach. Many are also located close to nearby facilities and attractions, and contain good on-site facilities. Malta also has a wide range of B&B and boutique hotels, and there are some good budget options too, for those with a limited amount of cash but would like a good-value stay.

There are also many good self-catering outlets in Malta, including impressive apartments and buildings to stay in, many of which have good views over the sea. The main downside of Malta accommodation is that there are relatively few good all-inclusive accommodation options.
