Weather

Weather in Vilamoura can be changeable in January, February and March.

However once April starts there's a noticeable change towards the summer heat that is typical of the Algarve.

Temperature in January is warm with lots of sunshine, but also can be windy and wet at times.
February is often good but each year has brought a different mix, but always with some sunshine to be had.
March is a month of surprises, sometimes wonderful sometimes disappointing but always warmer than the UK.

A very attractive place for both a short or long break in the winter.

Weather

We Generally take our Holidays in November and have now for 28 years and always found the weather to be reasonable, not to hot and cooler in the evenings.

There are some days that it may rain but we always come home with a Tan.

Holiday

Having visited Vilamoura over the last 28 years it is obvious that we enjoy holidaying in the Area.

We first purchased a Time Share in 1984 very close to the Marina.

In the early days there was very little development but what we were impressed by was the friendliness of the people in the Hotels and Restaurants and some have remained very good friends.

In our Time Share we enjoy a great deal of comfort and views also seeing the development of the Marina and Casino, though nothing has been spoilt with high rise hotels as seen in other areas.

In 2006 we changed our Time Share for a little more Luxury for a Presidential Suite which had a very large Balcony offering more views and our own Jacuzzi.

We will be back again this year.

We stayed here from November 3- 21st. We had maybe three days of rain,but the temperature was around 20 every day, sunny warm days... Just beautiful!

Holiday

We Stayed at the Crowne Plaza and, because it was off season, it was very reasonable. Beautiful ocean view suite, enjoyed watching all the little fishing boats front and fisherman fishing. Walking to both Marinas. The village has many shops and restaurants... We also booked many tours that run all along the Algarve. Would definitely recommend Vilamoura to everyone: a great vacation.

Simply amazing. We stayed until the end of October and we had sunshine all along.

The beach was also great.

Awsome. We stayed in a 9 bedroom Villa called Vilamarques (vilamarques.com) which we strongly recommend.

Weather

The weather was superb, sun was shining, the sea was warm and the locals were brilliant.

We enjoyed a wonderful September, it was hot all day, and stayed warm until about 7.30pm, then it cooled down abit but we managed with just a cardigan.

Holiday

We enjoyed every single minute of it, we stayed in an apartment about 10 minures walk from the harbour.

We strolled in at night and grabbed a cab back (4 euro). The food was superb right near the apartment, so we didn't have to spend a fortune around the harbour restaurants.

We had a great BBQ on the balcony of the apartment so we also had a night there.

Local supermarket was great. Fresh meats, fruits and chilled beer.

In August very, very hot.

October /November has been lovely also.

Once when I went in March and it rained two days but other than that always good.

Holiday

My holiday here is always fantastic.

I have been coming here for twenty-two years and have been to every town along the Algarve coast.

Carveiro is lovely, Quateira, Lagos and many more.

I always come back to Vilamoura and made great friends out here with the Portuguese.

The Old Village apartments are lovely and have three lovely pools. Everybody there is lovely can't wait to get back. I have just booked again for November.

I was quite disappointed with the weather in October. Maybe it was just bad luck but it was cloudy most days. The only time it was sunny was at about 9.00am, but as you can imagine it was a bit too cold to be sitting by the pool that early.

Holiday

Holiday was good, went to the harbour for ice creams and shopping.
There are some great restaurants for eating out at night & the pool was lovely

Great place, the weather was fantastic never saw a cloud in 8 days we were there in the 80s every day there is a great breeze that keeps you cool.

Holiday

Had a great time went to the beach almost evey day , went on a fishing trip , had a sail in a old ship from Vilamoura Marina, already booked return next year , stayed at the Mourastar apartments on the golf courses modern smart apartments home from home .

Scortchin.

The sun always shined.

The sun heated up the pool so it was really warm. Lovely Jubbly.

Fantastic, the marina is so facinating,lots of activtity. Facilities are great. It can be busy in July.

Weather

The weather in Vilamoura is very pleasant : the sun is great without it being too hot for children.
It stays warm into the night for outdoor eating and the breeze is also very nice on particulary hot days.

We have been to Vilamoura 3 times and we love it.
The shops are nice (no tat shops) the restaurants are very reasonable and there is everything you could think of to choose!!
We stayed within a ten minute walk out of Vilamoura at the old village which is an exelent place to stay with bars and restaurants on site. Vilamoura is 10/10 !!!!!!!!!

The weather in Vilamoura is never disappointing.
The sun shines daily and is very warm indeed!
Sometimes you can get a lovely cool breeze whilst sunbathing which can be needed!!

Holiday

Our holiday was fab, we go to Vilamoura every year possible for two weeks! It's so relaxing and breathtaking!

We stay in apartments called Pinhal Da Marina, which is set amongst Pine trees and in a quiet set back surroundings away from the road!

There is plenty to do and the marina is full of life during the day and night!
