June sees temperatures continue to rise in San Sebastian, so is perfect for a sun, sea and sand holiday.

The Bay of La Concha is the place to be on account of the miles of sandy beaches and calm waters, popular with families.

Zurriola Beach is popular with thrill seekers who want to indulge in some water sports such as jet skiing or windsurfing. There are also excellent facilities on the seafront.

You can also enjoy the bay in a slightly different way by taking a pleasure boat ride from El Puerto.

If you are topping up that tan then it is wise to take precautions to avoid sunburn or sunstroke.
Always wear sunscreen with a high SPF and seek shelter from the sun during the hottest parts of the day.

There are also many events taking place throughout the month, with something to entice everybody.

Beer lovers should aim to visit San Sebastian around the middle of the month, when the Beer Fest in Paseo de Justo Elizaran takes place. This event takes place in a massive beer tent and celebrates a wide range of beers with lots of tasting sessions available. 

The San Sebastian Triathlon also takes place around the bay during the month of June. This event attracts over a thousand athletes each year and whether you are participating or cheering on the participants, this event is quite a spectacle to behold.
