Averages for Magaluf in October

There will definitely be a nightly chill in the air during October, but that is not to say that winter is even close to settling in for Magaluf, Spain. On the contrary, locals and tourists alike act as if summer has not yet departed, partying and spending plenty of time on the beach.

While the average low temperature is 55.4°F (13°C) at night, the average high temperature is around 75.2°F (24°C) during the day.

The average sea temperature is plenty warm enough for swimming and water sports at 71.6°F (22°C).

There is an average of 2.48” (63 mm) of precipitation. There is an average of 11 days of precipitation during this month.

The main way that tourists can tell it is fall rather than summer is that the days are noticeably shorter in October. There is an average of 8 hours of sunlight each day.

Those who are worried that the party is over by October should stop, because that is hardly the case. Drinks are still reasonably priced in the strip’s full bars. The BCM Planet Dance nightclub hosts parties with themes such as UV lighting and foam-filled dance floors.

Bonkers is a club which is located right in the middle of the strip. It plays music which will appeal to all tastes, from R&B to electro and many all-time club favourites.

Also, Chaplin’s Bar is known for its pre-midnight party games and all-night popular dance music.

Those who want a clean comfortable room and a base in which they can sleep, relax and prepare for a night out will find that at Sol Antilles Barbados.

If a great view is important to you, then the best rooms are those on the top floor of the Antilles building with a sea view. It is typically quieter than other hotels, which can be a welcome relief from the crazy nightlife of the strip. This means that tourists will have to walk a bit farther to the main strip, but most do not mind this.

The hotel’s pool and fitness area are both very nice. There is a wonderful entertainment program for children. The beach is close by as well, so there is no lack of entertainment.

Bed and breakfast is a good choice for those who want to sample many of the surrounding restaurants and cafés; however, the hotel’s food is high quality, so half and full board are not bad choices either, as they provide great value for the price.

Pool activities throughout the day are fun and entertaining, but guests never feel pressured to join in. For a refundable deposit, the hotel provides beach towels, too.
