Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The five-star Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is ideal for travellers who won't accept anything less than the best. For something more savoury, head to Project Pie. Open every day from 11am until 11pm (and until 1am on Friday and Saturday) this restaurant serves classic pizzas, make your own pizzas and salads. There are seven different classic pizzas to choose from, three salads and 25+ ingredients available if you choose to make your own pizza.

Chandelier

When it comes to opulent bars in Las Vegas, you'll struggle to beat the Chandelier. Located on the Las Vegas strip, the highlight of this bar is the amazing three-storey chandelier which hangs in the centre of the multi-level bar.

The first floor is a high-energy casino bar, the second floor is a sophisticated cocktail lounge and the third floor is another glamorous lounge. Found within the Cosmopolitan hotel, the Chandelier is open all day, every day.

Pub 1842

For something more casual, try Pub 1842. This American-themed gastropub offers more than 60 different varieties of beer. If you can't settle for just one, choose the "beer wheel" which features eight different types. Happy hour takes place Monday-Thursday from 5pm until 7pm, when beers and cocktails are reduced, as well as a few snack dishes.

You'll find the bar located inside the MGM Grand hotel and it's open Monday-Thursday from 5pm until 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11.30am to midnight and on Sunday from 11.30am until 10pm.  

Things to do in Las Vegas in June

Tha Chapel of the Flowers

The Chapel of the Flowers is ideal for couples planning on getting married or renewing their vows in Las Vegas. Located on the strip, this chapel offers traditional, modern and elegant weddings which take place inside three indoor wedding chapels, an outdoor gazebo or the glass garden area, according to your preferences.

There are 25 different wedding services available, guaranteeing something for all tastes and budgets. The Chapel of the Flowers can provide everything you'll need for your magical day, including flowers, photography, video, limo, makeup, music, outfits and the ceremony itself, leaving you nothing to worry about.

Absinthe

If you've only got time to see one show during your holiday, make sure it's Absinthe. Performances take place in the Roman Plaza in front of Caesars Palace at 8pm and again at 10pm every night between Wednesday and Sunday and have been described as "the most inventive and daring show to open on the strip in years".

Featuring non-stop comedy and a talented cast of over-the-top acts performing incredible feats of strength, danger, balance and flexibility, the show is sure to leave you awe-struck. Due to the adult nature of certain parts of the performance, only people aged 18 and older will be allowed to watch.

Recycled Percussion Band

When it comes to interactive shows in Las Vegas, Recycled Percussion Band is a tough one to beat. Performances take place from Saturday to Thursday every night at 7pm at the Quad Resort & Casino and treat audiences to junk rock music played on buckets, power tools and anything else remotely musical that they can get their hands on.

Musical instruments are even handed out to the audience so everyone can join in. If you don't like being part of the show, the Recycled Percussion Band might be one to pass on.

Wet 'n Wild Water Park 

Visitors travelling with children should make the most of the hot summer weather and head to the Wet 'n Wild Water Park. Located just outside the city, this exciting water park never fails to entertain families and is home to a number of slides, flumes and pools. There's also a generous grassy area outside where you can sit and enjoy your picnic.
