Things to do in Barcelona in July

Piscina Municipal de Montjuic

Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc is an Olympic diving pool that was used in the Barcelona 1992 Olympics. Today the swimming pool is open to the general public, which is ideal when it's a hot summer day. The pool boasts stunning panoramic views over the rest of the city, so even if you aren't too keen on swimming, it's an ideal spot to sit down in the spectator's area and take in the scenery.

Port Cable Car

A great way to make the most of July's glorious sunny days in Barcelona is to take a ride on the iconic Port Cable Car. Dating back to the 1920s, the cable car has become a prime feature of the city's landscape and offers amazing views over the seafront and the port. 

The Gothic Quarter

The famous historic Gothic Quarter is located in the centre of the old city of Barcelona. Stretching all the way from La Rambla to Via Laietana this area is arguably one of the most characteristic parts of the city. Gaudi House Museum

This stunning building was once the home of the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi who designed various buildings throughout the city including the Sagrada Familia and Casa Mila.
