Weather

We went as a family to Skegness in the second week in September.

The weather was a bit of a mix with the days a reasonable temperature but the nights were really quite chilly.

Holiday

We stayed at Butlins and can say it is a great place to go as it caters for all the family.

We had a great time and will be going again in March.

Skegness town has greatly improved, we had a good afternoon looking round the shops there.

There is also Fantasy Island with lots of rides to suit all ages.
If you go out of season you will find the rides are on a rotation, this means they will be open and closed at certain times.

We found the local people very friendly.

And I nearly forgot to mention the big open air market adjoining fantasy island, you will love it!

It was very good and I am going to go there again in a couple of months.

Weather

The weather was perfect for 10 days out of 14, lynndene is on Ida road. Its self catering. The room is homely, clean and they supply bedding. Every thing you want with self catering. The rooms have a wet room too, hot water for 24hours. The owners are very nice and friendly, they allow you to have your dog stay too.

Holiday

We had a wonderfull time. The shops and places to eat are very accomadating for all types of people. Fish and chips are the best.

Weather

Weather today is really nice and sunny - no wind. Gorgeous. Nothing like the rain and clouds that were forecast. Maybe this is by a rival town to put people off coming to Skeggy.

Holiday

Brilliant. Had a really good stay. Ok rained for a day but then todays sunshine has more than made up for that. Hotel was really good and Sharon & Kevin were really nice friendly people.

Weather

The weather can change but in summer its mostly warm with more rain in June and July so I recommend going in August.

I went there in July and it rained for 4 days of our stay and was very hot on the last 4.

Holiday

My holiday was amazing, everything you could hope a great holiday would be.

Last year I went when it rained but we still had lots to do such as visit Butlins for the day, have a drive to Lincoln and check out the cathedra.

When it was sunny we went to the beach, fair, towns, and had walks along the beach.

Of a morning me and my Grandad would walk along the beach at about 8am and get some breakfast from a place called Dixiland.

It's a beautiful place to go, very good for young and old.

I normally stay in Chapel St Leonards, Trunch Lane in Golden Anchor, it's great fun and packed with things to do and beautiful beachs

Weather

The weather was not brilliant, we had two really nice days then five very changable ones. Despite extreme conditions at times, each day contained enough dry sunny hours to enjoy our stay. We made the best of any good weather and this proved to be the main ingredient in making our time in Skegness fantastic!

If we had still got young children it would have cost a fortune to compensate for poor weather......fortunately we are past that stage now?

Holiday

This was our first holiday without children in 20 odd years, we did take our 3 little dogs, which was a first for us!
We did'nt know how welcome pets would be or how we would cope, but soon found accomodation which turned out to be ideal. We stayed in an eight berth caravan
on the Kingfisher site and soon felt at home as there were people with pets all around us.
Our main activity was chatting to lots and lots of lovely people keen to fuss our dogs and learn all about them, this kept us entertained all week! All so POSITIVE!!
