Located on the Aegean coast of Turkey; Kusadasi is a small resort town in Aydin Province. The resort features a Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and mild winters. Kusadasi assures 300 days of warm sunshine per year, and the surrounding oceans are typically warm enough to swim from April until the near end of November.

The fine white sandy beaches Kusadasi supplies an enjoyable an ideal environment for visitors from all regions of Europe. With characteristic hot summers and mild winters, the annual average temperatures throughout a month range from 19ºC to 23ºC. Precipitation levels are that their highest from November until February, whilst mean annual rainfall sits anywhere from 1000mm to 1100mm.  Maximum amounts of rainfall are obtained in the months from December to February as tourists to the town will see an average of 10 days of rain per month. This can sum up the overall climate of Kusadasi is pleasant and very suitable for tourists all year round.

Summer

Despite its locality more north than many other Turkish resorts, Kusadasi is the country’s warmest area, with the month of August seeing its highest temperatures of 31ºC or higher. The months from June to August are assured to see its many tourists sunbathing on the beautiful beaches achieving a golden tan. The peak season of summer in Kusadasi is extensive, hot and dry with an average of thirteen to fourteen hours of sunshine per day. The daytime temperatures are very hot, sometime becoming unbearable, whilst nightfall will guarantee to see climates at a more pleasing level.

Spring and Autumn

The seasons of spring and autumn are the most ideal time to vacation as the summer crowds have died down and climates are at their finest.  With an average of eight to nine hours of sunshine per day the region sees temperatures at a comfortable 23ºC to 26ºC. Sea temperatures throughout this time are also a lot more pleasing than the climates experienced in summer. This can at times make the beaches still busy during spring and autumn.

Winter

The typical winter climate in Kusadasi is typically mild and rather rainy. Even though there is a comparable difference in air temperatures from summer to autumn, the sea temperatures only drop by one or two degrees. Daytime temperatures rang from 13ºC to 18ºC but will commonly see high of over 20ºC. Although the town itself will never feature snow throughout the winter months, snow can be seen on the high nearby mountains, creating pleasant panoramic scenes for visitors. This assures that Kusadasi brings promising year round weather that allows its visitors to laze on the beaches even throughout winter.
