Glorious. In fact, too hot on a couple of occasions.
Only one day of light rain in two weeks when temperature dropped to 20 C.
However, rest of time was hot and sunny. One day reached 38C and rest around 30C mark.
We went in August 2009 and the area is the hottest region in France after the South of France of course.

Holiday
Fabulous. Brilliant countryside - really unspoilt. We stayed in a Manor House near a river side village. You need a swimming pool due to the heat.
