The average monthly temperatures for each season are as follows: 

Spring

In spring the highest average daytime temperature is 150C and the lowest average temperature is 50C.  The highest temperature recorded in spring is 330C in the month of May and the lowest temperature recorded is -220C in the month of March.  Fog is most common in March.

Summer

In summer the highest average daytime temperature is 280C and the lowest average temperature is 160C.  The highest temperature recorded in summer is 410C in the month of July and the lowest recorded is 30C in the month of June.  Summer is prone to thunderstorms and June is normally the month with the most storms.  Sometimes summer can be the rainiest season which is a result of hit and miss storms rather than prolonged rain fall.

Autumn

In autumn the highest average temperature is 170C and the lowest average temperature is 60C.  The highest temperature recorded in autumn is 360C in the month of September and the lowest recorded is -130C in the month of November.  Autumn weather can be unpredictable being chilly / rainy or warm / moist.

Winter

In winter the highest average temperature is 10C and the lowest average temperature is -90C.  The highest temperature recorded in winter is 220C in the month of February and the lowest recorded is -290C in the month of January.  The average winter provides 38 inches of snow, of this snow fall it can be from 10 inches to 98 inches.  Every 3 years there is normally a storm which produces a further 10 inches of snow.  The snow normally covers the ground for weeks which is good for skiers but not good for joggers and runners.
