Boasting high climates and year round sunshine, Jandia is hard to beat. With high temperatures during the summer months that head up towards 30ºC in July and August Jandia, otherwise known as Playa Jandia assures magnificent weather and loads of sunshine. Playa Jandia provides steady weather at all times of the year meaning hot, dried out summers that tend to extend for a number of months and warm, placid winters. Some could say the typical weather featured in Jandia is almost arid; this is because of the resorts close proximity with the Africa coastline. The island endures extreme lack of rainfall and the sun assures to be around for an average of 320 days each year. The mean annual temperature in Jandia is approximately 21ºC, which means even during the coldest months of the year days are still warm and spring like.

Summer (April – October)

Throughout an entire year in Jandia there is very little seasonal variation. If you’re looking for a holiday with stacks of sunshine on nearby beaches, Jandia will not leave you disappointed. Sunshine levels during the summer months are high averaging at least nine hours per day. From May right through until October daytime climates ever rarely drop below 25ºC and rainfall levels are at their absolute minimum. Water activities such as diving, snorkelling and swimming are prefect during the summer months as sea and air temperatures are only ever one or two degrees apart. The months of June until September are Jandia’s peak season and the resort sees many tourists congregating to enjoy the beautiful shores hot summer temps. The months outside of this time is more preferable for those who want a sunshine vacation but enjoy slightly cooler weather.

Winter (November – March)

Average temperatures throughout the coldest winter months of January and February still hover around between 20ºC to 22ºC. This is one of the many reason’s Jandia is one of Europe’s finest winter vacations. Jandia assures long hours of winter sun, enough that one is still able to pick up a beautiful golden tan. Festive holidays over Christmas and New Year will include long walks along the beach, days outside relaxing in the sun and many other outdoor activities that are unable to be achieved in most other areas of Europe during the winter. Rainfall during the winter is still infrequent and when showers do occur are brief and short lived. You’re assured to see clear blue skies filled with sunshine on your winter break.
