Autumn, in October and November, is initially idyllic but soon turns disagreeable. October is a great time to visit to avoid the heat of the summer and the worst of the tourist crowds. The average high temperature gets down to 23°C so at the beginning of the month mid 20°C temperatures are still common. October nights are cool, around 13°C, but the sea stays warm enough for swimming, sunshine remains reliable at seven hours per day, and rainfall remains low. However, temperatures fall below the coveted 20°C mark in November, reaching an average high of 18°C and an average low of 8°C which requires a thick jacket. November is the wettest month in the year and is generally quite unpredictable. Rainfall jumps to 83mm for the month, falling in a few very heavy storms. Sunshine levels drop that little bit more down to six hours per day.
Winter, from December
till February, is mild and changeable. The average high temperature stays in
the mid teens for the whole season, getting to its lowest in January at 14°C.
The average low gets down to 5°C in December and February, bottoming at 4°C in

Night times remain cool, under 10°C, and the sea does not quite warm up enough for swimming till the end of the season. The sun steadily returns and rainfall levels stay moderate. This is another fantastic time to visit the resort if you aren’t after the scorching heat of the summer.
