Having said the town is blessed with a general comfortable climate all year round, it can on occasions be quite windy. The wind is likely to be at its peak when the “Mistral” blows in, very consistently for at least a three day period. In fact this can come as a welcome relief in the height of summer, causing the scorching temperatures to fall to a more pleasant climate. Widespread winds come from western quarters with trade winds moderating the summer heat. Between December throughout until February, for few weeks, eastern winds bring clear climate, cooler nights and sunny days.
