Weather Overview for Hua hin
Hua
Hin; located 190km south on
Dry season
Generally speaking, the “cool and dry” season is from November to February. At
this time of year, nights can get cold and the average
temperature is 26°C. There is plenty of sunshine, although it is not as
powerful as later on in the year. Although rain is very rarely experienced,
tides are high and winds can be expected in the afternoons.
Hot season
The “hot” season extends from March to June. Temperatures can by far reach an
average of 29°C, with daytime heat rising to 35°C and even higher. Nights are
also hot and humidity tends to rise after dark. Tides are not so high, but it
can again get windy in the afternoons. Towards the end of this season, the
region experiences very light uncommon showers, but only in the early evenings
and usually lasting no longer than an hour.
Wet season
The Rainy or Wet season lasts from July through until October. However, Hua Hin
does not undergo the monsoon showers that the north and south of
Hua Hin is commonly enjoyable at any time of the year, even throughout the
we season when there are typically breaks throughout the day. Another benefit
of visiting in the rainy season is that there are less visitors and guaranteed
low hotel rates. Generally speaking, the most ideal time of the year to visit
Hua Hin is from December
through to February when temperatures are relatively low and rain only falls occasionally.
