Dubai is a fantastic holiday location to head to in November. The cooler temperatures – well, the average temperature still hovers around a none too shoddy 18 to 31 degrees Celsius! – mean there’s very little humidity and the heat is far less oppressive than during the rest of the year. There’s also very little rainfall, just 0.2 inches expected over the entire month, and plenty of sunshine. So, if you fancy escaping the increasingly chilly, dreary and drizzly weather in the UK and sneaking in an early winter getaway before the Christmas merriment and mayhem, definitely ‘do’ Dubai.

Where to stay? Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, the Ottoman inspired resort located on Palm Jumeirah, in Dubaihas added a number of exciting new experiences to further enhance guests’ stay. The award-winning hotel now offers cooking classes, complimentary use of bicycles and a unique cultural tour of the property called ‘Secrets of the Saray.’  In 2014, the luxury resort will open The Rib Room, adding to its award-winning restaurant portfolio and a new Sinbad’s Kids Club facility will offer families a heightened holiday experience.

The ‘Secrets of the Saray’ tour allows guests to discover the unique design behind the hotel’s beautiful interiors – inspired by the imperial palaces of the Ottoman era. In addition, a new fleet of bicycles is available for the whole family, enabling independent exploration of Palm Jumeirah. Cooking classes in the Vietnamese-French inspired Voi and Indian themed Amala restaurants now offer guests an interactive insight into the methods behind Far East Asian and Indian cuisine.

Stephan Schupbach, General Manager of Jumeirah Zabeel Saray said: “I am extremely proud of the progress we have made in such a short space of time. With only a couple of years in operation, the resort has successfully grown to become one of the most established in the region – winning over 25 awards and ranking in the top 15 Dubai hotels on TripAdvisor. Never complacent, we have a number of plans to continue to develop the luxury offering for our guests over the next five years and beyond and with such a strong team in place I am confident we will continue to grow.”

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray was the first hotel in Dubai to launch the ‘Pressreader.’ This application for smart devices enables guests to browse 2,300 newspapers and magazines in 50 languages from 100 countries while staying at the resort. Entering its third year since opening in March 2011, the resort offers 10 unique restaurant and nightlife venues and in 2013 the world-renowned supperclub and Lebanese institution, MusicHall, both opened. The hotel’s Avenue of Indulgence, a collection of high-end retail boutiques, continues to expand with the recent addition of Talise Boutique and a refurbishment of Al Dukan, the hotels gift and convenience store, offering a more diverse shopping experience for guests.
