Calas de Mallorca is a resort built on the south-east coast of the island of Majorca, situated in the Mediterranean Sea. Majorca is a province of Spain, and is the largest island in the Balearic Islands Archipelago. Because of the warm temperatures and dry climate during the season, most travellers opt to visit this time of year. If you are a fan of enjoying the rich coastal landscapes or swimming in the clear blue waters, summer may be the season of choice for you. The summer months run from June through August.
The water's temperature is the warmest during the summer season, ranging from 21°C (70°F) in June to a high of 26°C (79°F) in August. This makes the summer season ideal for swimming and other water-based activities.

Overnight lows will also follow the same path and fall from 16°C (61°F) early in the season to 8°C (46°F) by the end.
Rain
The rainfall during these months is rather significant, and precipitation can be rather heavy. The average rainfall picks up from summers moderate 10-16mm a month to a high 56mm to 63mm per month. The rain normally comes in short, very heavy downpours; but usually doesn't last for a significant amount of time. This season has the least amount of tourists, due to the heavier rains. Autumn runs from September to November.

Sea Temperature
The temperature of the water begins to increase from the cool temperatures of winter. During the early parts of the season, the water is still cold, averaging 15°C (59°F). As the season progresses towards summer, however, the sea's temperature begins to rise, averaging 16°C (61°F) mid-season and 18°C (64°F) during late spring. The spring season runs from late March through May.
