Sarlat la Caneda or better known as Sarlat; is one of the most eye-catching and appealing towns located in south-western France. The cityâs enjoyable climate, limestone hills, profound valleys and stunning rivers are almost certainly the main reason for making Sarlat an admired French vacation.
Generally Sarlat experiences a diverse and temperate climate. Visitors holidaying from the south of the UK will discover that Sarlatâs summer months are relatively warmer than a typical English summer, but the winters will possibly be colder. On the other hand, within the region there are discrepancies in weather patterns, making the daily forecast a very local issue, with average temperatures and precipitation altering not only in broad bands across the city, but also within quite small areas.
Sarlat benefits from an extremely mild climate, even though July and August can ay times grow to be very hot. July and August witness high temperatures at over 30C on a daily basis. Even throughout the winter months temperatures will commonly become quite cold but will still linger above 10C during the day; absolutely warm enough for sightseeing and taking tours of the city.

area which falls beyond 2000mm. The city experiences 112 days of rainfall on
average each year; usually more in the winter months than the summer.
In the summer months, guests to the region
will typically notice the occurrence of heat building up to a climax, usually
resulting in a spectacular thunderstorm, lightning and rain, which clears the
air and allows the pattern to begin again.
In the summer months the temperature exceeds 30C for about eight days each month. The first frosts frequently become visible just before the end of October, mainly in the narrow valleys, and will continue until the end of April.
