Things to do in Salou in September

Parc Municipal de Salou

Parc Municipal de Salou is a local gem a little outside of the tourist's agenda but well worth a visit, especially if you have small children. It's a pleasant park with a café, a play area for children, and benches for the adults. While you're there, you can take a relaxing walk, enjoy the quiet away from the busyness, and even have a caricature drawn. Locals especially enjoy this place in the evenings when it is the perfect time to stroll and visit the little pond there or relax under a shade tree.

Masia Catalana of Salou

The complex of buildings known as Masia Catalana of Salou was constructed in 1974 to show elements of rural Catalan life. The site features countryside tools, pets, and breeding and in the summertime (June September) is a craft market place. Thirty stalls featuring jewellery, crafts from different countries, ceramics, soaps and candles are available in the summertime. The Farm Park plot is 5.260m square and mostly occupied by garden area as well as several typical Catalan Market rural buildings. You can see types of tools used by Catalans as well as what type of work is done with them. As of late, playgrounds have been added as the building is maintained and rehabilitated to its original splendor.
