What's The Weather Like In Vilamoura In September

Marking the end of the Portuguese summer, September in VilamouraPortugal, is slightly cooler than the hotter summer months that precedes it. However, it is still pleasantly warm and, as it empties out as the summer holidays draw to a close, it is one of the best times to visit Vilamoura to enjoy soaring temperatures without the crowds.

August is the hottest month in Vilamoura, so the cooler average temperatures of 22°C in September are a welcome change. Temperatures stay consistent throughout the month, meaning you'll experience warm weather if you visit at the beginning or the end of September.

Rainfall is on the up in September as the resort heads into autumn. On average, 14mm falls throughout the month, so it's unlikely you'll get caught in any downpours but it's best to pack an umbrella just in case.
