July marks the peak of summer in Vilamoura, Portugal, and the temperatures reach their highest point in the year. Praia do Forte Novo
Just along the coast from Vilamoura in Quarteira, Praia do Forte Novo offers a huge sprawling beach with public parking. It's characterised by soft-white sands dotted with rugged tufts of greenery and uninterrupted views across the sparkling, blue waters of the Atlantic. There are also numerous bars and restaurants surrounding the beach for you to refuel in.

Further down the coast from Praia do Forte Novo there is Praia do Almargem, a beautiful white-sand beach with an unusual lagoon set behind it. The wide beach is dotted with rows of sunbeds and is surrounded by lush greenery. In addition, there are several beach bars and restaurants lining the sands for your refreshment.
