August is the busiest and hottest month in Vilamoura, Portugal, following on from the sweltering temperatures of July. The Mediterranean weather continues, drawing in tourists from all over the world who are in search of sun, sea, and sand. Praia de Loule Velho
Another great beach lies in the other direction, just past Quarteira. Praia de Loule Velho is a large expanse of sand, flanked again by tall cliffs that protect the bay from any rouge summer winds. If you're a complete beginner there are a number of lessons available, as well as classes for children.

August is extremely hot in Vilamoura, and one of the best ways to cool off is to visit one of the nearby waterparks. In addition, there are also reptile and falconry shows.
