September Weather Averages

Sorted by popularity:

Though the peak season might start to wind down in Santa Susanna as September progresses, there is still plenty of good weather to be had.

This is the perfect time to enjoy the Northern part of Spain if you are not too keen on the crowds usually experienced during the peak summer months. Or if you want to avoid the sweltering heat that July and August can provide. But there is still a lot of beautifully warm sun forecast.

What's The Weather Like In Santa Susanna In September

Rain

Only 58mm of rain are expected in Santa Susanna in September, which is just 3mm more than the previous month of August. And as this volume of precipitation is expected to spread over approximately 9 days of the month, any rainfall is likely to be short lived.

September is a part of the thunderstorm season, so the occasional downpour and high humidity should be expected. However, such conditions are quick to resolve themselves, offering another bright day in Santa Susanna.

Sunshine Hours

The long hot days are epitomised by the 10 hours of daily sunshine expected every day in the month. And while the nights may draw in slightly quicker than they do in the peak summer months, average lows of 14°C make the dark hours much more comfortable than those experienced in the previous 62 days.

Sea Temperature

In the day time, average highs usually achieve temperatures of 25°C throughout September, though by the end of the month the lower 20's are more commonplace. And with sea temperatures still reaching 24°C throughout the month, September offers the perfect time to go and enjoy the beach, without worrying about whether you will be discouraged by the crowds.

For those with young children, average temperatures of 20°C make September a much more comfortable time of year to visit the region. And with a wealth of activities still available across the region, the fun continues in Santa Susanna.
