Santa Susanna Weather for February 2020

What's The Weather Like In Santa Susanna In February

    Sea Temperature

When it comes to sea temperatures, the winter weather ensures the water around Santa Susanna is at its coldest in February, which means only the bravest will want to hit the water. But with average temperatures rising and the chance of rain falling, when compared with January, there are definitely signs that spring is on the way.

    Rain

In February, only 49mm of expected rainfall throughout the entire month make it one of the driest periods in Santa Susanna. And with only 9 days expecting some precipitation, the chances are that any rain that does fall will only be in the form of a light shower.

    Sunshine Hours

Instead of rain, February is a time for bright dry weather and plenty of sunshine. 8 hours of sunshine are expected daily in Santa Susanna, providing the perfect opportunity to enjoy the region before the warm weather starts.

This is the ideal time for cycling or walking or can even be a good time to hike the beautiful Pyrenees Mountains that are sited not so far away.

    Temperature

Average highs of 14°C, ensure a much milder February than in most of Northern Europe and even provides better weather than most of inland Spain too.

Historically, temperatures have reached up to 24°C in February in Santa Susanna, with that record temperature recorded in 1990. It is therefore advisable to always consider suitable sun protection, even in the early months of the year in this region.

Conversely, there have been some cooler nights in February. The lowest recorded temperature of minus 4°C was registered in 2012, however average lows of 2°C are far more likely.

    Humidity

Thanks to the lack of rain, humidity levels are likely to be at one of their lowest levels of the year in February, usually around 74%. However with much lower winds, there is a chance of some early morning fog, which can effect up to 7 days of the month.
