Known for their tapas and great sandwiches, the menu is simple but simply wonderful. Find more affordable meals than you will at the beach restaurants with authentic quality and taste. The mushrooms cooked in wine come highly recommended and it is on the whole a great place to enjoy your evening while on holiday in Salou. It's best to book a table in advance, however, because the Petit Bar is usually busy.
La Ibense is the place to go for fabulous dessert. Spanish drinks like leche Merengada and Orxata are must haves while visiting La Ibense. The variety of ice cream is fantastic like the exotic black current so be sure to sample as many different kinds as you can at this unique restaurant while in Salou. The staff is wonderful and provides quick service even when it is busy (which it usually is). This is not your average ice cream shop and it's something you will not want to miss while on holiday.

You should take advantage of this upon arriving in Salou because you'll get acclimated with places outside the tourist area as well as popular monuments, coves, and natural environments all while sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the ride. Choose from four different train lines to enjoy different routes depending on the time of year you're in Salou.
Path 'Round the Coast
One of the most breathtaking adventures you can take in Salou is referred to as the Path 'Round the Coast. Experience spectacular views as you travel on modern infrastructure that has been harmoniously integrated with natural landscape. This is one of Salou's most affordable attractions that can be walked on foot with your partner or the whole family. El Camino de Ronda begins your journey and you will pass several cafes, restaurants, and coves. The path then takes you past historic sites and up a fairly steep staircase where you can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the water. Lovers of natural sites will not be disappointed.
Playa dels Llengüadets
Even though you may not get a tan this time of year, any season is a good one for walking the shoreline of Playa dels Llengüadets. It's a nice beach with a small cove and shallow waters. It's not quite as populated as the larger beaches, but you can still the beach bar where you can get a cold drink or ice cream.
