February is one of the coldest months in Puerto Banus, the famous, luxurious marina of Spain's Costa del Sol. Though this is a cold month for the southern Mediterranean port and village, Puerto Banus is warm compared to the winter temperatures in central Spain.
February's average temperature is 12°C, with an average high of 16°C and low of 7°C. The Sierra Nevada mountains provides protection to the area, meaning that the temperatures in Puerto Banus rarely drop below 5°C.

You can find some of the best Indian food on the Costa del Sol at Mumtaz, a restaurant on the Benabola pier by the picturesque Puerto Banus tower. The restaurant's sprawling terraces have been serving guests and offering views of the marina's many boats for over 30 years.
For Puerto Banus' elegant spin on the Irish sports bar, visit Slainte. The restaurant allows both families and groups of friends to enjoy a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, sports, live music, and Irish and American cuisine. The restaurant takes on more of a pub feel as the night wears on, perfect for a dining and social experience. Slainte is especially accommodating for families, with a professionally staffed crèche for children.

Festivals And Carnivals
February in Spain sees many festivals and carnivals. Tourists from all over the world travel to partake in these Spanish celebrations. If visiting Puerto Banus in February, participating in the festivities is a must, especially in the Marbella Carnival. Most of the month of February, and sometimes into March, Marbella and the surrounding areas celebrate the carnival, an extended festival in which people dress up in costumes and participate in various activities. Marbella, San Pedro de Alcantara, Nueva Andalucia, and Las Chapas all play host to the carnival festivities. Events include: an opening ceremony and performance, an urban market, a masks contest, a gala, humorous street parades, a football tournament, and various activities for children.
A popular activity in Puerto Banus, as up and down the Costa del Sol, is golf. There are over 60 golf courses along the coast, many of which are in the vicinity of Puerto Banus and Marbella. The Aloha Golf Club, next to Aloha Gardens apartments, is one easily accessible to Puerto Banus visitors. Also, check out Los Naranjos Golf Club, a course only five minutes from the marina and good for golfers of all levels and ages.
Spend chillier February nights at Casino Marbella in Puerto Banus, the only casino in the area. It is attached to the Andaluca Plaza hotel and open every night.
