    August and September are actually the two warmest months out of the year for Playa de Fanabe. The dry conditions continue this month making it a popular one for vacationers. As a result, visitors may need to be prepared to pay a little more for flights, hotels and activities.

    The average temperatures continue to climb in both the early morning hours as well as the afternoon. Overall, the average daily temperature is a pleasant 24°C (75°F). With the moderating effects of the nearby ocean, the average overnight low only falls to 21°C (70°F). In the daytime hours, the temperatures will quickly climb to 27°C (81°F).     Visitors won't get any relief from clouds or rain as it continues to be dry during this time of the year. While the average rainfall is up from the previous month, the number days receiving rainfall stays the same at only 1 for the entire duration of the month. The average monthly rainfall only climbs up to 3mm.  With such small chances of rain, the chance of seeing a sunny day is very good. In fact, the chance of seeing sunny skies is 70 percent with the chance of rain or a cloudy day both standing at 2 percent.
