What's the Weather Like in Phuket in November

    Rain

Rainfall continues to ease into November with the monsoon moving away to return again next year. With 200mm of average rainfall falling over 16 days, the rain is lessening each month and towards the end of this month and into December the dry season will begin where rain drops considerably to 30 to 40mm a month.

The high and heavy rainfall seen in September with 400mm is gone and the days are drier with slightly less humidity. Rain will end each day and give rise sunny conditions ideal for lazing at the beach or fishing from the beaches, islands or ocean fishing.

    Temperature

While remaining warm, the average temperature is at its lowest in November and December at just 27°C between the average high/low temperatures of 23°C and 31°C. Warmer temperatures occur here all year as Phuket is close to the equator and makes it the perfect escape from the cold and miserable European winters. Expect to see more days over 30°C as the year comes to a close towards the end of this month and into December.

    Humidity

With the amount of rainfall still more than the dry season at the end of the monsoon the average humidity has dropped to a slightly more comfortable 85% that is down from October's highs of 90%. Air conditioned activities may still be the best option to escape the humidity or head down to the beach where a cooling breeze will make conditions better.

    Sunshine

With the end of the monsoon and cloudy conditions the average sunshine hours are 7 per day but this will start to increase at the month's end to December's high of 8 hours a day. This is just one hour less than the high of 9 hours seen during the hot season.

    Sea Temperature

Sea temperatures remain the same at an average of 29°C and the cooler December low of 28°C will be barely noticeable. Dangerous conditions at some beaches will ease this month with all being open towards the end of November and moving into December.

    Fog

You will see an average of 3 foggy days this month and they will increase from now on to the high of 8 days a month in March.
