Tourists become more widespread during June but it's still prior to the peak season (July/August) so the beaches are often not excessively crowded. Paphos International Sailing Club
June is quite a good time of year to go on a sailing trip, though for some it may be advisable to sail outside of the warmest time of day, especially during heatwaves. The Paphos International Sailing Club to the north of Geroskipou beach features frequent regattas and occasional championship events, and in early June they host the PISC Annual Summer Ball, held at the Kamares Country Club, with a buffet and entertainment. In late-June they host the PISC Regatta, and entertainment such as barbeques. Details on these events are generally made available near the time.
Elea Golf Club
Golf fans have a couple of good options. Elea Golf Club at 1 Eleon Avenue is a par 71 course designed by Nick Faldo, and is cared for by a dedicated team and features 18 holes. The site includes a golf shop, a golf academy and eateries, and is generally well-received by visitors (especially for the additional on-site facilities) though it has a reputation for being pricey.
Minth Hills Golf Club
Minth Hills Golf Club (previously known as Tsada Golf Club) at Polis Road, Tsada is the main alternative, and is relatively cheap but with fewer facilities.
Aphrodite Golf Course
The Aphrodite Golf Course is another 18 hole golf course which also contains a spa and tennis facilities.

During June, Paphos arranges a choir festival where international and local choir groups meet up and stage performances at the Ancient Odeon in Paphos. The Feast of Kataklysmos (Flood Festival) is held in late-June each year at the coastal towns and cities in Cyprus, including Paphos, it features processions, water sports events, boat races and feasting.
