Paphos Bird and Animal Park
May is quite a good time to check out animal-related attractions, since the weather is reliable without being remarkably hot. Customers can try jet ski hire, sailing, parasailing, tube rides, water ski trips, pedalo and kayaking trips, and more.
Novices at windsurfing can try out windsurfing lessons, in which an instructor is beside you at all times on a safety boat while training, while there are also similar sailing lessons offered for sailing novices. There are good facilities for both adults and children, for example children as young as 3 years old are permitted to try water skiing. In addition to all of this, the centre also provides PADI dive courses and dive trips, including a trip to the famous Zenobia Wreck.

In May, in the village of Geroskipou, Ierokipia, a ten-day musical festival featuring theatre performances and concerts, with many musical and dance performances. Many of the events are held in the main village centre. The Anthestiria Flower Festival is also held annually in May at Poseidonos Avenue along the harbour at Kato Paphos, and features parades of flowers, celebrating the arrival of spring.
