Things to do in Orlando in March
Magic Kingdom
March is a good time to visit the theme parks as the weather is comfortable it may be getting busier but not nearly as much as the peak season in summer, and not as humid either. Why not take the kids to Magic Kingdom for an enchanting fairy tale experience. The first of the Disney World parks, it is home to the iconic Cinderella Castle, much-loved Disney characters and magical attractions.
Older kids will enjoy the thrills of Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain while Young Disney fans will love Fantasyland, which has recently been expanded to create New Fantasyland. Don't miss the afternoon parade on Main Steet USA, or the evening counterpart SpectroMagic. Make sure you wrap up the day with the famous Fantasy in the Sky fireworks which illuminate the sky behind the castle.
Airboat Rides
If you're looking for real adventure, a trip to Florida would not be complete without going on one of their famous airboat rides. Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides in Saint Cloud is just 30 minutes away. Glide through beautiful marshland and seek out the Florida alligator on your exhilarating airboat tour. Or there's Boggy Creek Airboat Rides with two sites not far from Orlando's. Discover exotic birds, turtles and alligators in their natural environment and soar through the wetlands at 45mph.

For art buffs there's the Winter Park Sidewalk Arts Festival, one of the nation's oldest, largest and most prestigious outdoor art festivals. More than 350,000 visitors come every year to enjoy the wide variety of artwork including painting, photography and graphics as well as sculpture, jewellery and digital art.
St. Patrick's Day Festival
March 17 is St Patrick's Day and the Americans love to celebrate it in style with plenty of St. Patrick's Day Festivities throughout the city. Check out Will's Pub Orlando, Pat O'Briens, and The Harp and Celt Irish Pub and Restaurant for Irish-themed fun, live music and lots of Guinness. Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant even have Irish dance and music workshops.
