A short trip from town, you'll discover Steer Town Beach, soft white sand fringed with trees and shrubs. The beach feels relatively undeveloped, feeling more secluded as compared to the beaches in the main strip. In the area you will find a few restaurant and bar options, and there are also public restrooms. There are umbrellas and chairs for use which will come in handy at this time of year be it for shade or to keep you dry from the rain.

A handy tip: try not to go when a cruise ship is in port, as it may be hard to get a table and food service may be a little slower.
Things to do in Ocho Rios in November
Grab a rubber inner tube and a cup of courage, and jump into a river to enjoy a journey thorough pools and gentle rapids as you take a tubing adventure with White River Tubing. Surrounded by lush rainforest, the river water is cool and refreshing and helps make the entire journey very relaxing and enjoyable. There is a pit stop half-way along the river journey, allowing a bathroom break and the opportunity to have a cold beverage, before jumping back in the river and carrying on your way.
For the military and history buffs, Up Park Camp is a large military museum and instalment allowing visitors the chance to view military artefacts and items of interest from historical wars (the first inhabitants of Jamaica, the Tainoes) to present day military armaments and the like. You will also find a military library and café on site.
