Celebrating its 8th edition, Movement Music Festival<\/a>, the Italian cousin of the world renowned Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) is back in force for 2013 in Torino<\/a>, Italy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year the 10-day Movement Torino round-the-clock Festival programme will run between Saturday October 24th and Sunday November 3rd 2013. Bringing original performances from the pinnacle of electronic talent it will explore the depths and boundaries of contemporary dance music culture.<\/p>\n

Italy\u2019s most beloved Winter Electronic Music Festival will once again take control of Torino\u2019s nightlife, making a lasting impact on everyone who choses to take part in the programme, with all of it culminating in a grand finale on Sunday November 3rd. The ambitious cultural festival returns with some inspirational venues, taking in a selection of institutional and academic buildings whilst exploring the full realms of the electronic world. To further bind the musical education daytime lectures, workshops, forums and business networking platforms, take place at various venues around the Italian city.<\/p>\n

The acts playing the festival include those from the top of their game in house, techno, tech house, bass and everything in between, with live sets from Bugge Wesseltoft & Henrik Schwarz and Mathew Jonson and DJ sets from those including Adam Beyer, Agoria, Ben Klock, Blawan, Boddika, Davide Squillace, Derrick May, Dixon, Dubfire, DVS1, Eats Everything, Joy Orbison, Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex, Magda, Omar S, San Proper, System of Survival, Pan Pot, The Martinez Brothers and Visionquest who are on an ambitious world tour taking in dates across the globe, with this being the groups only date in Italy this summer.<\/p>\n
