More than 4,000kg in fireworks fill the night with colour and mark the beginning of the celebrations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376306530375_4130\" style=\"font-family: Arial;\">In the Old Town, the streets fill up with polka dots, C\u00f3rdoba hats and music to accompany the traditional procession to the Shrine of Virgen de la Victoria, which sees horse riders, carriages and devotees accompany the Fair\u2019s standard bearer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376306530375_4101\" style=\"font-family: Arial;\">To soak up the festive atmosphere, you can&#8217;t beat bagging a prime spot on a sunny bar terrace in the centre of town and enjoying a few tapas washed down with M\u00e1laga sweet wine. Salud!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376306530375_4103\" style=\"font-family: Arial;\">One of the Fair\u2019s distinguishing features are its two nerve centres: the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.malagaturismo.com\/jsp\/quever\/fiestas.jsp?opc=651&amp;id_idioma=1\">Downtown Fair<\/a>, along the streets of the Historic District (tapas and wine, music, merrymaking) and the Fairground, where lit-up kiosks offer the best food and a buzzing atmosphere, plus horse rides during the day and live shows in the evening.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376306530375_4104\" style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Of course, there is a funfair to boost everyone\u2019s adrenaline, inviting children and grown-ups to join in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376306530375_4125\" style=\"font-family: Arial;\">And there is more: a wide range of entertainment and cultural activities across M\u00e1laga Province, adding up to the regular offer of splendid beaches, scrumptious food, top-rate museums, fun outdoor sports from golf to kitesurfing, 23 natural beauty areas and 101 towns and villages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376306530375_4126\" style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Come to M\u00e1laga and experience one of the most exciting fairs in Southern Europe.
