FALCON\u2019S FURY RISES AT BUSCH GARDENS TAMPA IN 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

In spring 2014, Busch Gardens Tampa\u00a0is taking guests\u2019 experiences to new heights with Falcon\u2019s Fury, the first drop tower of its kind in the world, mimicking the dive speeds of the fastest animal on earth*<\/p>\n

Falcon\u2019s Fury\u00a0will stand at 335 feet (102metres) and take riders plunging 60 mph straight down.\u00a0\u00a0At the ride\u2019s highest point Busch Gardens has added an element of surprise.\u00a0 Like its bird of prey namesake, riders will pivot 90 degrees in mid air to a face down dive position. An instant later they’ll plunge 60 mph at 3.5 Gs straight down with speed and power like they\u2019ve never experienced before. With no connecting structures, it will be the tallest freestanding drop tower in North America.<\/p>\n

The surrounding area of Falcon\u2019s Fury will be redeveloped into\u00a0Pantopia.\u00a0Currently known as Timbuktu, the fully remodelled\u00a0Pantopia\u00a0will boast elaborately jewelled theming, feature thrilling rides and attractions, sensational new food and beverage, exciting entertainment, shopping, a renovated indoor theatre and much more.<\/p>\n

50-year celebration at Seaworld<\/strong><\/p>\n

The original SeaWorld Park opened its gates for the first time in March 1964 on Mission Bay in San Diego<\/a>. To commemorate a key event in the company\u2019s history, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment will launch a multi-park 50th<\/sup>\u00a0celebration in 2014 \u2013\u00a0Sea of Surprises.<\/p>\n

From 21st<\/sup>\u00a0March 2014 SeaWorld parks in San Diego, Orlando and San Antonio will share the excitement through celebrations that will highlight some of the most memorable SeaWorld experiences.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

For nearly five decades, SeaWorld has surprised and amazed guests with unique entertainment, thrilling rides and up-close encounters with marine animals. During SeaWorld\u2019s 50th<\/sup>\u00a0Celebration, visitors will be invited to take part in the celebration through new interactive experiences, shows and pathway performances, even more up-close animal encounters throughout the park and the SeaWorld\u00a0Surprise Squad\u00a0treating guests with prizes every day.<\/p>\n

Highlights include\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even more surprise encounters<\/strong>\u00a0with roaming animal ambassadors throughout the day such as Magellanic penguins, lemurs or even a flamingo parade.<\/p>\n

Celebration giveaways in park\u2026<\/strong>The SeaWorld\u00a0Surprise Squad\u00a0will be offering spot prizes including exclusive access to rides, behind-the-scenes experiences, celebration t-shirts, Shamu-themed merchandise, reserved show seating and more.<\/p>\n

On the spot entertainment<\/strong>\u2026SeaWorld park pathways will come to life with spontaneous entertainment at unexpected moments, including performers with sea-inspired costumes and props, a bubble brigade and splash mob.<\/p>\n

Art for animals<\/strong>\u2026To highlight SeaWorld\u2019s commitment to the environment and passion for protecting the ocean, a series of\u00a0giant sea life sculptures<\/strong>\u00a0will be displayed throughout the parks. SeaWorld has commissioned environmental art group Washed Ashore to make the large-scale art created from ocean debris.<\/p>\n

FREE-FALLING ALL NEW HEIGHTS AT AQUATICA, ORLANDO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aquatica Orlando\u2019s all-new terrifying free-falling water slide\u00a0Ihu\u2019s Breakaway Falls <\/strong>opens in 2014. The drop slide will be the tallest, steepest and only multi-slide ride of its kind in Orlando.\u00a0 The slide is named after Ihu, Aquatica Orlando\u2019s colorful gecko, who searches for the biggest thrills, steepest hills and the coolest spills in the waterpark.<\/p>\n
