    Nassau Weather for April 2021

What's the Weather Like in Nassau in April

April heralds the busiest month in terms of crowds in Nassau, which although can be a little off-putting if you're after peace and quiet, does certainly mean a party atmosphere, with fantastic weather to boot! The city comes alive during most months, however as we move towards the hottest temperatures, this is a very popular month to enjoy.

    Temperature and Sea Temperature

The average temperature during this month is around 23°C, which is certainly pleasant enough for beach time and exploration. The average sea temperature is warming up nicely, which means a cool down in the glittering waters is a must do; you can expect around 26°C to greet you when you head off swimming, diving, snorkelling, or off on a boat trip, however do remember sun safety at all times, especially when out on open water.

The hottest parts of the day will bring an average high temperature 27°C, and when out walking around the city, and especially when you are in busier areas with crowds, this may feel considerably hotter. Evenings are mild, yet can feel a little humid, with an average evening low temperature of around 19°C; again, at the risk of repetition, air conditioning at any time of the year in The Bahamas is a definite must have!

Rain is still thankfully low at this time, however the coming months will bring considerably more of the wet stuff. You can expect an average rainfall level of around 80mm at this time of year, which will affect around 9 days to some degree or another. This means simply a few short downpours from time to time, which will clear quite quickly.
