November Weather Averages

Sorted by popularity:

What's The Weather Like In Monte Carlo In November

For most people, autumn evokes images of changing leaves and crisp days. Monte Carlo hardly has any change from the heart of summer to its autumn weather. However, if there was a month with noticeably cooler temperatures and changes in the weather, it is likely November. The last of the summer tourists are gone, the lavish yachts have moved to tropical climates and Monte Carlo's 3,000 permanent residents settle into low season.

Rain

November is the wettest month in Monte Carlo and visitors can expect an average of 123 mm (5 inches) of rain throughout November so it is worth checking the forecast. The month has an average of 7 rain days, and humidity averages 72%.

Temperature

The precipitation increases in November, but the temperatures continue to decrease slightly as Monte Carlo experiences its temperate autumn. The monthly average temperature is 14°C (57°F). The November average high temperature is 16°C (61°F) and the average low temperature is 12°C (54°F). Evenings in November can become cool, and many restaurants and bars close their terraces for the season.

Sea Temperature

Likewise, sea temperatures drop as the month progresses. However, the time of year is not prohibitive for those wishing to dive, snorkel or enjoy time on the water with sea temperatures at an average temperature of 17°C (63°F). Those sailing, boating or yachting should plan accordingly with layers and wet suits.

Sunshine Hours

As well, the sun sets earlier and Monte Carlos has less daylight hours in November than in September and October.  On average there are 7 hours of sunshine per day throughout November. However, Monte Carlo lives up to its reputation as a playground of the rich and famous, and shorter days simply mean longer nights for lavish dinners, decadent drinks and heaving clubs.

Monte Carlo Hotels In November

Novotel Monte Carlo

Part of the world-wide hotel chain, the Novotel Monte Carlo is located in the heart of Monte Carlo, and is just a short walk from Monaco-Ville, Port Hercules and the train station. At this three-start hotel, the staff is friendly and welcoming and the rooms are modern and spacious. The hotel has ample space for an event or convention, with modular spaces that can hold up to 230 people.   The Novotel Monte Carlo is well equipped to handle both business and leisure travellers.

The Novotel Monte Carlo also has views of Monaco-Ville, affectionately called the Rock of Monaco, and certain rooms have sea views. An on-site restaurant and spectrum of hotel services creates a comfortable stay while in Monte Carlo.

 Port Palace Hotel

Often, the onset of cooler weather in November encourages visitors to hunker down and enjoy some rest and relaxation. The Port Palace Hotel is known for providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for guests to unwind, without foregoing any individualized attention. The sweeping view over the Mediterranean Sea, a well-reviewed restaurant and top floor bar allow guests to have an incredible evening without ever leaving the comfort of the hotel.

Bars And Resturants

Brasserie de Monaco

Monte Carlo has a reputation for many things - gaming, luxury accommodation and an all-out, hedonistic party scene, to name a few. The Brasserie de Monaco wants to add brewery to the list. Of course, the Brasserie de Monaco is not a simple brewery. In addition to brewing its own organic beer, Brasserie de Monaco has a terrace overlooking the yachts of Port Hercules and a cocktail list and well-appointed lounge area.

Le Train Bleu

The casinos of Monte Carlo are more than just places to gamble; they are home to world-class event space and divine restaurants. When it comes to gourmet Les Privés is tough to beat. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but the dress code is enforced so come in appropriate attire. Le Train Bleu also offers a gourmet dining experience. The décor of Le Train Bleu is over the top but elegant, styled after the famous train the Orient Express. Both Italian and French cuisine is on the menu, and its proximity ensures that there is always a crowd for dinner service.

Bar Salle Blanche/Bar Salle Europe

The two bars of the Monte Carlo Casino are also very popular. Bar Salle Blanche is an intimate and elegant setting for a drink before or after dinner, while Bar Salle Europe serves cocktails and spritzers amongst slot machines of every type and variety.

Monaco Cathedral

The beautiful architecture of Monte-Carlo is exemplified in the design and location of the Monaco Cathedral, also known as the Saint Nicholas Cathedral or Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
