Camel Safari

You're staying at a desert destination, so what is a better thing to do than going on a camel safari? Nothing even comes close to a camel when it comes to exploring the deserthe animals with their relaxed yet determined pace are simply the ideal means of transportation for this environment. You can go on a camel safari with tour companies and usually a night in a Bedouin camp is included as well. Camel safaris take place in Wadi El Gemal, which means 'Valley of the Camels' in English, a name that couldn't be more appropriate.

An even more typical experience is a visit to an actual camel market. The Shalateen camel market is a place that very few tourists visitt lies more than 230 kilometres south of Marsa Alam. There are, however, excursions that go there. Make sure to put this activity on your list!
