Malta Beach for November

November is not one of the best times of the year to hit the beach, since the weather is often cool and wet. If you do get a dry and sunny day during your holiday, there is a handful of beaches you can choose from.

Blue Lagoon 

The beach at the Blue Lagoon is a great place to spend the day. If the sun isn't out, you can have hours of fun exploring the various caves, coves, and cliffs the beach is known for. The small bay holds shallow, azure-colored water and injot's located on the West coast of Comino. This major tourist attraction is definitely worth visiting; it's enjoyable for children too. 

Ramia Bay 

The fairly secluded Ramla Bayon the island of Gozo is another top place to soak up some rays if the sun is out.

It's the largest sandy beach in Gozo and has a rugged natural feel to it.

See the statue of the Virgin Mary on the sand; this also attracts tourists. This beach is lined by numerous snack bars, providing you with plenty of choices when it comes to lunchtime.

Fans of seafood can consider Wigi's Kitchen, situated at Main Street, Saint Julian's, which also serves international and Italian dishes alongside various seafood. Tuck into a succulent steak and top it off with delicious strawberry meringue for dessert.

A popular nightclub is the Footloose Fun Bar, at St. George's Road, Paceville, Saint Julian's. This club is made up of a bar, chill-out zone, and dance floor, making it a great choice whatever you're in the mood for. Weekends are the best time to visit. 

Things to do in Malta in November

St Johns City Cathedral

There are loads of interesting historical sites in Malta that are worth a visit. St. John's Co-Cathedral at St. John Street, Valletta boasts spectacular architecture inside the main area of worship.

This church is open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays and 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays.

The church has a number of tapestries to admire and there is a book shop that also sells souvenirs. Photography is permitted, provided that no flash is used.

The Oratory is recommended for a visit, which includes two works by the artist Caravaggio.

Old City Mdina 

Mdina Old City boasts spectacular views over the surrounding area, as well as a wide variety of old, attractive buildings and souvenir shops.

There is a cathedral inside the main square and the Mdina Dungeons and the National History Museum of Malta is also located inside the city.

To get the most out of visiting Mdina Old City, a guided tour is recommended. The Mdina Experience an audio-visual show is also worthy of note for those who want to learn more about the history of the place.

The Point 

The Point at Tigne Point, Sliema is a popular shopping center that houses a wide variety of shopping stores. This center also arranges special party events which are particularly tailored towards children. In addition to the shops and party venue, the Point also features restaurants, some of which boast views over the seafront. The building has three floors and has approximately 1,000 car parking spaces.
