The island of La Palma is a wonderful place to visit at any time throughout the year because of its constant, warm temperatures. The month of April is no different, as the average temperature in La Palma this month is 19°C (66°F). The middle of April sees even more sunny days and less rain, while the average daily temperature rises to 19°C (66°F). The end of the month follows this same pattern, as rain is virtually nonexistent and is replaced by sunny days and an average daily temperature of 20°C (68°F). The average daily sunshine in April is seven hours. This is an increase of an average of six hours from the two months prior, as La Palma moves closer to the longer days of summer. The average rainfall this month is 30mm which is the same as in March. However, the rain occurs on an average of just four days throughout the month, which is a decrease from six days in March. If you do happen to experience rain during your trip, it will likely be short-lived and not enough to ruin your day.
The average sea temperature in April is 13°C (55°F), which remains the same it has been since January. This is considered water that is too cold to swim in, even for a quick dip. Despite increasingly hotter outside temperatures, the sea takes longer to warm up and maintains its cool condition.
The average humidity in April is 70% which is relatively high. However, it will not feel uncomfortable because of the mild temperatures this month and if you catch a breeze by the sea, the humidity will be unnoticeable.
