Kuala Lumpur Weather April Averages, Malaysia
What's the Weather Like in Kuala Lumpur in April
Beautiful, exotic and ultramodern, Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, is rapidly developing into one of the most prominent metropolises on the planet. As the last month of the western monsoon season, April sees a wet, tropical spring coming to Kuala Lumpur but fear not; the weather is still fair and there is plenty to do and see here.
The afternoon temperature can rise up to 32°C on average, while at night, the mercury rarely drops below 24°C on average, which is the highest low temperature of the year (also recorded in May). These extraordinarily high day-round temperatures are one of the reasons Kuala Lumpur is such an attractive destination. The overall average day temperature is 28°C,hat temperature will remain essentially constant for many more months until it drops by one degree in September.
The city enjoys 8 hours of sunshine on average during April, which is the maximum number of daily sunshine hours observed in any monthhere are, however, six other months that are equally as sunny, another testimony to the consistency of the weather in Kuala Lumpur.
Cloud cover is still rather high, however, and those tropical clouds bring with them about 240mm of precipitation in total, which falls down during 19 days with rainfall. Don't let the occasional rain deter your will to go out, though, as there is so much to do and see while visiting this unique and mysterious metropolis. The fact that it rains on 19 days also means that there still are 11 days without any raindrops whatsoever. The chance that it will rain drops slightly in the course of the month as the weather slowly makes its way toward the dry season.
