Things to Do In Krakow In September

Botanical Gardens at Jagiellonian University

September is the last month to check out the Botanical Gardens at Jagiellonian University before they close for the winter and reopen in May. The gardens started out as a learning garden for botanical students at the university and have become a beautiful spot for tourists and residents to enjoy. The gardens are free to visitors and home to water features and beautiful monuments, as well as an onsite observatory.

Church of St. Peter and St. Paul

Another beautiful church in Krakow, the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul dates back to the 14th century. The church still operates as a parish, holding traditional Catholic mass on Sundays, as well as concerts nearly every Sunday night. It's open year-round for visitors to come visit during the day and while there, you can take advantage of the audio guides to learn about the history of the church and its role in the city.

Ulica Florianska Street

Located just inside the Old Town portion of the city of Krakow, the Ulica Florianska street is home to numerous restaurants, hotels and shops. It's one of the top spots for tourists to visit during their stay and combines historical and cultural sites with modern day attractions. Follow the historic street to get to the Main Market and Wawel Castle, as it's part of the Royal Way leading from the castle to the Barbican.
