What's the Weather like in Kos in November
November is the start of the off season in Kos as the weather falls to cold season temperatures throughout the month with rainfall and cloud coverage continuing their steep rise. Although it is not considered as cold season until the final week it is still pretty cold during this month with an average temperature of 15 C (59 F).
The beginning of November continues on where October left off as the highs along with the lows decline throughout the whole of the month. Highs and lows begin the month at 19.4 C (67 F) and 14.4 C (58 F) making this the warmest point of the month so keep that in mind if planning a trip during November. Probability of rainfall begins the month at 32 % and continues its upward climb through to the end while cloud coverage is on the same climb beginning at 48 % (partly cloudy) and gradually elevating throughout the month.

Kos Hotels in November
Finding a place to stay on Kos in November is easier than most of the year, as it is officially the off season now. Areas that are sure to have plenty of available accommodation around this time of year are mostly in Kos Town, Psalidi, or Lambi near the waterfront. It's still recommended to book in advance though.

Furthermore the staff (available 24/7) is incredibly helpful and keen to make your entire stay a wonderful one. There's also a lovely pool area complete with sun beds and a bar/lounge area.
Helona Resort on Kos is located on one of the most amazing beaches on the island in Kardamena. This resort has a good number of rooms and a large entertainment space (which can accommodate up to 200 people at a time). Moreover, many of the rooms come with their own private pools and large terraces. To top it all off, the view of the sea from the hotel is simply outstanding, while the kayak and bike rentals give you the freedom to explore the island to its fullest.
The Atlantica Thalassa Hotel located in the Lambi part of Kos Town, makes you feel welcome this minute your arrive, with sandwiches and drinks to help you unwind and freshen up after a long journey. Most of the rooms overlook the pool area, while there's plenty of excellent facilities such as a an attractive bar/lounge and excellent restaurant.

The members of staff are happy to guide you around the island, taking you to all the best spots that you might otherwise miss out on. This hotel is located in the island centre of Kos Town so there are numerous hotels, shops, and bars at easy walking distance.
Kos Beach for November
The beaches of Kos are beautiful year round, and even November remains pleasant enough for a trip to the beach.
If you are staying at the village of Kardamena while holidaying on Kos, be sure to head to the nearby Kardamena Beach. This 3-kilomter strip of clean, sandy beach is very popular with holidaymakers as it provides everything you may need including sun beds, umbrellas, eateries and a huge range of watersports (although these may be limited at this time of year). The neighbouring Banana Beach is quieter, so head there if you want near-total solitude.
Mastichari Beach located on Kos's northern coast is a striking white sandy beach with emerald green water and long stretches of sand, which are ideal for strolls or keen runners. There are plenty of umbrellas and sun beds for rent, plus shaded areas thanks to crops of trees.
Bars and Restaurants
Although most restaurants and bars are closed in November there are still plenty to choose from. Your best bet are eateries in Kos and Psalidi, or, many hotel restaurants and bars will remain open all-year round.
Broadway Restaurant, as its name suggests, is located in Kos Town and offers an American/Greek fusion cuisine. A warm, welcoming owner, friendly staff and tasty food such as burgers and fries and Greek Saganaki, has earned this place a great reputation, as well as several awards.
A traditional coffee house is what this restaurant calls itself but it offers much more than just coffee. The Watermill of Zia cafe has been built inside a classic structure from the 1800s making it a must-see for history buffs. As well as serving great coffee, this place does yummy milkshakes, ice cream and sarnies, too.
Things to do in Kos in November
Kos has something for everyone historical sites and artifacts, bustling nightlife, stunning natural scenery and wildlife, fun-packed water sports and much, much more. November is low season here, so some activities may not be available, but for those that are, you can expect to enjoy smaller crowds, lower fees and incredibly attentive guides.
Yoga fan? Then head to Lynn Yann Yoga in Kos Town. This is the most famous yoga school on the island, and as well as standard yoga classes, why not give reiki or yoga on a paddle board a go? Classes are available all year round as the yoga studio is on a sheltered wooden deck on the beach so expect great views, too.
Visit Eleftherias Square in Kos Town for a spot of people watching and to soak up the local café culture. This delightfully entertaining place in the heart of Kos Town is just the place to fully immerse yourself in urban Greek culture. There are plenty of restaurants around so you can enjoy lunch or dinner while listening to great tunes from local musicians who are a popular sight in the square, night and day.
