Miles of light colored fine sand with clear shallow water make Jandia a popular destination for vacationers from all around the world. The beaches offer kiteboarding, windsurfing, parasailing, scuba diving, swimming, fishing, boating, jet skiing and more. Some visitors prefer sitting on the beach reading a book or sunbathing on the sandy shores. If you're in the mood for some seafood, head to La Cofradia de Pescadores in Morro Jable. Serving food from early in the morning to late at night, this is an always-busy restaurant near the harbor. Located in the old centre of Corralejo in Fuerteventura, Restaurant Rompeolas is another seafood restaurant. It is part of Avanti Hotel Boutique and features a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, a well-filled menu and amazing view over the Atlantic Ocean.

There are plenty of things to do in and around Jandia, including water sports, such as swimming, diving, boating, fishing, kiteboarding and parasailing. If you are up to a trip on the high seas, a Pirate Tour may be the perfect activity. An authentic Spanish schooner, Pedra Santana, takes cruises along the southern coast. You can learn to tie knots, fish or try pirate games. If you're with kids, this will be a guaranteed success.

For some land-based excitement, take an off-road safari. Four-wheel drive vehicles are available to take you to remote places that you can't reach by car. The driver will take you to some of the peninsula's best hidden secrets, making your trip even more memorable than ever.
