Many people around the world consider November to be cold, wet and windy. Not in Paradise though, and that's essentially what Half Moon Cay is.

With this in mind, a tempting activity may be to swim with stingrays. Looking like angels of the sea with a smiley face to boot stingrays are gentle, graceful and extremely curious. They don't appear too timid either, as you can easily coax them into following you around simply by offering them some squid!
Half Moon Cay is a Wild Bird Reserve, so if you enjoy spotting rare birds then the island is perfect for you. Among the variety of birds you can expect to see are Bahamian pintails and sooty and roseate terns, as well as shearwaters. Look up into the sea grape trees and you may also be lucky enough to spot the bananaquit, or yellow bird.
