The sea is very calm and the sand is clean (although dark). There are no tourist facilities here but the numerous palm trees on the beach provide a decent amount of shade.

Azzurro restaurant serves some of the best Mediterranean dishes in El Cotillo. The restaurant has beautiful view over the sea and serves fantastic food, accompanied by local, Canarian white wine. The restaurant is child-friendly and offers relatively cheap prices.

Rokama La Cubana

Rokama La Cubana is a small and friendly bar located in Corralejo's music square. The bar offers night entertainment and serves breakfast to nightclub lovers who've partied the night away. It is closed on Sundays.

Roadhouse Bar

The Roadhouse Bar offers live entertainment at night and during the day sports events are shown on large TV screens. The drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is friendly. Every Sunday, the bar serves Sunday roast from midday until 5pm.

Golf Club Salinas de Antigua

Golf Club Salinas de Antigua is a popular golf course of 18 holes, par 70, designed by Manolo Piñeiro, twice world champion in golfing. The course was built using advanced technology to create perfectly placed holes, incredible landscapes and a sophisticated irrigation system that powers all water features. The trail gets golfers through lakes, greens and even desert patches across 21.450 square metres.

Museo de la Sal

Perhaps one of the most unique museums on the island, Museo de la Sal (museum of salt) is a lot more interesting than it sounds. In the Museo de la Sal, you can learn about the importance of salt and how this amazing substance has shaped civilisation and mankind through the ages. Wars have been waged and empires have been built thanks to salt, and in this museum you will also learn how salt is produced (from the sea or mineral deposits). The museum is situated mostly outdoors and the views are good, too.
